The importance of education is quite clear. Education is the knowledge of putting one’s potentials to maximum use. One can safely say that a human being is not in the proper sense till he is educated. This importance of education is basically for two reasons. The first is that the training of a human mind is not complete without education. Education makes man a right thinker. It tells man how to think and how to make decision. The second reason for the importance of education is that only through the attainment of education, man is enabled to receive information from the external world; to acquaint himself with past history and receive all necessary information regarding the present. Without education, man is as though in a closed room and with education he finds himself in a room with all its windows open towards outside world. Generally, at the start of a very young age, children learn to develop and use their mental, moral and physical powers, which they acquire through various types of education. Education is commonly referred to as the process of learning and obtaining knowledge at school, in a form of formal education. However, the process of education does not only start when a child first attends school. Education begins at home. One does not only acquire knowledge from a teacher; one can learn and receive knowledge from a parent, family member and even an acquaintance. In almost all societies, attending school and receiving an education is extremely vital and necessary if one wants to achieve success. However, unfortunately we have places in the world, where not everyone has an opportunity to receive this formal type of education. The opportunities that are offered are greatly limited. Sometimes there are not enough resources to provide schooling. Furthermore because parents need their children to help them work in factories, have odd jobs, or just do farm work. Vovl also have focus those areas where people have not opportunity to receive formal education and we believe educational field has been known as playing a major role in shaping contemporary society mainly because it allows conceptualizing people’s surroundings as well as their interactions with those surroundings. However, as education intersects with politics, geography, and economics, educational outcomes become significantly different. Therefore, when VOVL came into being, since then we have intentions to educate minors and young ones from rural areas as well. There are many villages which are situated near Lahore District where the pre-primary education services not available for the Christian Children. Though there are many schools but Christians are purposely not admitted there. So, these children are wondering here and there or they are forced to work as brick cleaner at Bricks regenerators. Parents are also illiterate and poor that is why they can’t give good habit or pre education at home to children. Thus it is necessary to get Pre-primary and middle education to each child. The motivation behind our free education project is the busted condition of the Christian people of that particular area near district Kasur. The situation is very bad Christian girls and boys are being held hostage and they treated discriminatively. Young girls raped and then their parents black mailed and given shut up calls and threatens. Law and order is not effective. Our organization have all the above information from a Christian laborer who was under oppression but he told us all this and fled from there. All this is happening because of the pitiable atmosphere of the people living there. Hence Rising Star School started free education in rural area of Nizam Pura, District Kasur near Lahore it is a village which consists on a very backward population. In the beginning it was hard to stimulate people for sending their kids to get education for free because parents remained them for the brick cleaning or retain these children in house for care of infant & cattle grazing. But our team discussed with them repeatedly children is now increasing every year and at last parents started enrolling them into our school. By now Total 97 children from Rising Star School have been passing out for 1st & 8th standard so far. In our institution enrollment of the children started from the age of 4. The Organization has been facilitating those Christian children whose parents are under the bondages of bricks businessmen. They are aware about importance of education.
